Belimo Energy Valve

Belimo’s one-of-a-kind Energy Valve is the solution to all energy-saving problems. With its various advanced features that allow seamless billing and consistent air flow, they are making buildings more efficient and cost effective. Let’s learn the ways that Belimo’s Energy Valves help businesses achieve just that.

The Belimo Energy Valve is an IoT cloud-connected pressure independent valve that monitors coil performance and energy consumption while maintaining the Delta T.

Based on technology from the characterized control valve (CCV), this valve provides zero leakage, while measuring flow through the valve using an ultrasonic flow sensor. How do we know this measurement is an accurate reading? The Energy Valve utilizes a patented glycol algorithm, built-in power control and Belimo Delta T Manager™ logic to monitor coil performance and optimize the heat exchange by maintaining Delta T. Even better, the Energy Valve shares data with the building’s management system. With the web server built right in, tracking the valve’s performance and operation is real-time and easier than ever.

With accurate flow information, the Belimo Energy Valve is able to help control different actions within the system such as pressure fluctuation and the amount of energy being supplied to a coil. Understanding and being able to analyze the information from the Energy Valve allows for optimization and energy savings.
